A beautiful Collection Privee Cartier Paris Tank Tortue, model reference 2496C.
The CPCP collection was produced for 10 years between 1998 and 2008. The models were made in small numbers and sold only in the Cartier Boutiques.
An 18ct yellow gold case with silvered guilloche dial, Roman numerals and blued steel hands. The sapphire case shows the Cal. 9601MC movement, a high-quality manually-wound caliber produced by Jaeger-LeCoultre. The semi-matt black strap is set on an 18ct Cartier deployant folding buckle.
The watch has been serviced at Cartier Old Bond St in London. A full mechanical service was carried out, a new sapphire crystal and crown were fitted. The total cost of the service was £995.00. The service is guaranteed for 24 months by Cartier.
