1983 GMT-Master II ‘Fat Lady’ : 16760
Fresh into stock, a Rolex GMT-Master II, model reference 16760.
This GMT-Master was launched in 1985. It was the first to be fitted with the sapphire crystal and thicker case, which gave the watch its’ nickname; ‘The Fat Lady’ or ‘Sofia Loren’! The earliest models featured the dial dedication OYSTER PERPETUAL rather than the later ‘OYSTER PERPETUAL DATE’.
This 8.3m serial number watch was produced in 1983 and delivered with the correct bracelet code H (1983).
In very good original order, the watch is complete with the correct moon crater box.
