We should start by confirming that this is one of the finest vintage Rolex Day-Dates we have offered. A very fine Rolex Day Date, model number 1803/8. The 18ct gold case is solid with clean, sharp lines. The fluted bezel is well defined. Fitted with the original silver ‘wide boy’ dial, featuring double baton index markers and wide hands. This watch has seen very little wear, the condition is to be seen to be believed. The 18ct gold President bracelet is well presented and stretch free. Also included is a vintage Rolex crocodile strap in dark brown with pin buckle.
This watch was first supplied by A.Chillcott & Co in Bristol on the 1st of November, 1973. In pristine condition, its complete with its original wooden Rolex box, booklets, service papers, swing tag, the COSC certificate-warranty and its translation booklet.
A truly fantastic watch. Not be confused with other nice 1803. This exceptional example is for the collector looking for the best possible.
