A beautiful Audemars Piguet Quantieme Perpetual in 18ct yellow gold, model reference 5548BA.
A 36mm diameter case in 18ct yellow gold. The white dial shows time, day, date, month and phases of the moon. Fitted with a brown crocdile strap with an 18ct yellow gold Audemars Piguet pin buckle.
This is an early B-series ref 5548BA with the simpler ‘QUANTIEME PERPETUAL AUTOMATIQUE’ caseback engraving. It was sold new by Wickhoff Jewellers in Planegg, Germany on 1st December 1986.
It is complete with the Audemars Piguet box and the stamped, dated Certificate D’Origine.
Please note that when the warranty was filled out, the model reference was mistakenly noted as 25548BA.
